If you're lucky enough to live to 100, the years between 50 & 75 are your third quarter. That segment in life could be the waning of your physically agile years, so it's a good idea to stay active. It's also a good time to challenge your brain to keep things limber up there - by mastering something new. We decided to go sailing, and this is a chronicle of our journey.

Cape Dory & Robinhood

In December 2011, while Don and I were visiting the Robinhood Marine Center, where many of the Cape Dory staff now work (including Andy Vavalotis and Dave Perry), we were told about a box of old VHS videos used for sales presentations at boat shows by Cape Dory staff in the 1980's.  Don offered to digitize the footage on a couple of them, and then post them online, so that other Cape Dory enthusiasts could see them too. Here's a link to the clip for the Cape Dory 36:

There are links to the rest of the videos he digitized on the Cape Dory Message Boards.
Here is a post about comparing Robinhood 36 & Cape Dory 36 sailboats.

So, Don's the guy who did the videos?! Awesome. I loved watching them. Cool to stumble upon your blog.
